Insurance Coverage at Alium Health — Scottsdale and Mesa, AZ
We believe that quality healthcare should be accessible — and we work hard to make that a reality for our patients. Alium Health accepts most major insurance plans for both our primary care and mental health services, including therapy, psychiatric care, TMS, Spravato, and more.
Navigating insurance can feel complicated, but our team is here to help. Before your first appointment, we encourage you to call our office so we can verify your benefits and let you know exactly what to expect. We never want a question about coverage to stand between you and the care you need.
Plans We Commonly Accept
We accept a wide range of commercial, managed care, and public insurance plans. While our accepted
insurance list is updated regularly, we commonly work with plans including:
- AHCCCS (Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System) — Arizona’s Medicaid program
- Mercy Care and other AHCCCS managed care organizations
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona
- Aetna
- Cigna
- United Healthcare
- Humana
- Most Medicare Advantage plans
- Tricare (for eligible military and veteran patients)
For the most current and complete list of accepted insurance plans, please visit our Insurances Accepted
page or call us directly at 480-750-0095.
Mental Health Coverage
Under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, most insurance plans are required to provide mental health and substance use disorder coverage at parity with medical and surgical coverage. This means your therapy, psychiatric, and behavioral health services should be covered under the same
terms as other medical care.
Our team can help you understand your mental health benefits, including whether your plan covers individual therapy, group therapy, TMS, Spravato, and psychiatric medication management. Coverage varies by plan, and we recommend calling your insurance company or our office to confirm specifics.
Uninsured or Underinsured Patients
If you do not have insurance or your coverage does not include the services you need, please contact our office. We are committed to working with patients to find options that make care accessible. Our team can discuss self-pay rates, sliding scale possibilities, and community resources that may be
available to you.
What to Bring to Your First Appointment
- Your insurance card (front and back)
- A valid photo ID
- Any referrals required by your plan (check with your insurance if unsure)
- A list of your current medications and any relevant health history
