At Alium Health, “Alium” is more than our name; it is the foundation of how we deliver care. Derived from the Latin word for “different,” it reflects our belief that healthcare should feel more connected, more compassionate, and more human.
Alium Health is an integrated healthcare clinic bringing together primary care, behavioral health, and supportive services under one roof through a truly patient-centered approach. We believe care works best when providers look beyond symptoms and treat the whole person, mind, body, and life circumstances together.
Founded in 2015 and launched in 2017, Alium Health began with a mission to create a healthcare experience centered on women, one built on trust, safety, advocacy, and meaningful long-term relationships. That foundation continues to shape everything we do today.
As our community grew, so did the needs of the families we serve. Many of our patients encouraged us to expand care to include the men and children in their lives. In response, Alium Health evolved into a more inclusive healthcare home, welcoming patients of all genders while maintaining the same compassionate, relationship-driven philosophy that defined us from the beginning.
Today, Alium Health remains committed to doing healthcare differently: creating a place where patients feel heard, supported, respected, and cared for at every stage of life.
Over the years, many of our patients encouraged us to expand our care to include the men and children in their lives. In 2025, we honored that request by expanding services at both our Scottsdale and Mesa clinics to welcome men and children. While our care has grown to serve the whole family, we remain deeply committed to providing a supportive, safe, and compassionate environment for women and all patients seeking care at Alium Health.
Our approach goes far beyond appointments. Our dedicated Health Advocates support each patient in identifying needs early and coordinating care with compassion and expertise. Our network of trusted community partners has also grown significantly, allowing us to better connect patients with the resources they need.
